Reform UK Christmas Turkeys Sticker

The Reform UK Christmas Turkeys Sticker takes “turkeys voting for Christmas” and makes it literal. A turkey, festive details and Reform UK election signs turn an old expression about voting against your own interests into a Rotten Reformers Christmas cartoon.

The illustration gives its characters campaign placards and places them alongside a prominent turkey, with a dry headline that makes the political joke clear. There is no need for a long explanation of party politics to see why a bird enthusiastically endorsing Christmas dinner might have misread the consequences of its decision.

At its heart, the design is about slogans, self-interest and promises that sound appealing at first but deserve a closer look. It is a satirical opinion rather than a prediction about any particular voter. Christmas provides the visual shorthand, which is why the joke works just as well for people who know the expression as for those who are seeing it played out for the first time.

The artwork suits a seasonal gift for an outspoken friend or anyone who appreciates cheeky British political humour. Add it to a hard-cover journal or another smooth, hard surface, use it as part of a political sticker collection, or save it for when campaign rhetoric starts sounding a little too festive. The design is unapologetically part of the Rotten Reformers range.
